Zirconium fused alumina
Product characteristics
Zirconium fused alumina is obtained from alumina with addition of zirconium oxide. Zirconium fused alumina is characterised by the highest mechanical endurance among the group of aluminium oxides. Zirconium fused alumina is the second hardest material after the diamond.
Used in high performance grinding of cast iron, in grinding of steel semi-finished products with high pressures.
