Steel grit is a high quality metal abrasive, extremely durable and economical. Steel grit after full heat treatment is produced by crushing spherical cast steel shot. It is characterised by very low dust emission and extreme durability as compared to sand, slag and mineral abrasives. Sharp-edged steel grit gives a much sharper profile of roughness than round shots what ensures the appropriate adhesion of protective coating to the surface and effective removal of heavy paints.
PPH REWA is a sole distributor of SINTO steel abrasives in Poland (SINTO POLAND) and central-south-east Europe (SINTO EUROPE)
Steel grit is used for cleaning the surface of the steel, cast iron and cast steel, descaling and rust removal, de-burring, anchor pattern creation prior to coating or bonding.
