Chromic fused alumina
Product characteristics
Chromic fused alumina is obtained from alumina with addition of chromium oxide (Cr2O3). Chromium oxide Cr2O3 increases the hardness and toughness as compared with white fused alumina or brown fused alumina. Chromic fused alumina is used in production of precise abrasive materials, grinding of high alloy steel, sharpening of cutting tools.
