Plastic shot is used for cleaning moulds in rubber industry, in plastics industry and in the gentle selective removal of paint layers from aeroplane bodies, helicopters, cars, trucks, boats, trains, , components and parts. It is used in a non-aggressive abrasive surface preparation of aluminium, copper, bronze, plastic, stainless steel, glass, wood, facades of buildings - in particular historical monuments. Plastic shots prepares the surface of the composites before coating, bonding, polishes naturally stones, marble and granite. Plastic shot PC, so called cryogenic shot, produced from polycarbonate, is used in operations of beads de-burring in a cryogenic method in low temperature processing between -20°C and -140°C (cryogenic blasting ).
