Stainless steel grit

Product characteristics

Stainless steel grit is a high quality stainless steel abrasive which does not produce a rust and ferrous contamination on the surface by embedded blasted grains. Stainless steel grit gives a very sharp profile of roughness what ensures the appropriate adhesion of protective coating to the surface and effective removal of heavy paints.
It is characterised by the extreme durability and much lower friability than mineral abrasives such as: brown fused alumina, glass granulates and others. Stainless steel grit is unique because of its very low dust emission. Practically free of dust operating space means lower costs of dust removal, improvement of working environment and significant improvement of visibility in blast chamber. Stainless steel grit ensures stable process of blasting: slow shattering of the abrasive, uniform profile of surface finish and sharp roughness.
